Nirvana Mobility heading north for the Newark Show
KENT and Sussex based Nirvana Mobility will be showcasing its range of specially adapted leisure vehicles at the upcoming UK Autumn Motorhome & Caravan Show.
Following the team’s successful exhibition at June’s sister event in the South East, our visitors and campers at Newark Showground will get to inspect the accessible camper vans, day vans, caravans and motorhomes on offer – ideal for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, as well as those with other restrictive conditions.
Along with adapting several existing types for accessible use, the company also has its own Freedom motorhome model which comes in both manual and automatic. A Freedom caravan was also introduced earlier this year, and both will be available.

Motorhomes
New Nirvana Freedom motorhome range is available as a 5.9m or 7.37m fully wheelchair or mobility scooter accessible coach built low profile campervan in UK or EU specification. Availability will be on either Renault Master or Fiat Ducato and is going to be limited so interested parties please contact me. For disabled access each new motorhome features an adapted interior with wheelchair access via an AMf Bruns K90 underfloor cassette lift and using a new design 850mm habitation entrance door. This could also be used to load a mobility scooter avoiding lifting and doubles as the entrance step for able bodied access. There are options for driver transfer, disabled driver controls and wheelchair passenger transfer to the front seat. We can also offer Ardoo portable hoist systems and the accessible models feature roof strengthening beams if a fitted hoist system is required. The facilities internally include and accessible washroom area with wc and shower which uses a new design semi rigid screen system for privacy in use and to conceal the area when vacant. All cabs come with air conditioning, electric windows, extended arm electric mirrors and are pre-wired for your choice of in car entertainment. The range starts with a compact 5.98 metre model.
Versions are available in 2 to 6 berth layout and will be available to view and demonstrate during 2016. Prices for new orders start at only £39950 assuming VAT exemption applies. Clients will be able to reserve pre-production spaces in our facility with a small deposit followed by agreed stage payments to secure your chassis, build time and final delivery. Part exchange can also be incorporated for your convenience.

Caravans
The all new Nirvana Freedom 430 caravan designs have been completed and will of 2 to 5 berth options with access via a wide rear door and accessible washroom/toilet area. The fixed bed at the front is raised to allow storage under and the side settee/bed is set at a transferable height for a wheelchair user. We can accomodate requests for lower bed heights and other alterations prior to build. All Freedom accessible models come with entrance options including the accessible rear door, an electric power winch system and suitable portable ramps. Please contact us if you are interested as we have limited production space.
For those who are able bodied the lightweight, sporty and fun Freedom 430 is also available without adaptation featuring a standard access rear door. Ideal for weekenders, water sport fanatics, active families and hobbyists it has received comments about its suitability for sports including surfing, skiing, cycling and for animal lovers due to the large storage area.

Camper vans
Our new Freedom multi purpose campervan designs are nearly finalised and will offer a truly versatile and bespoke vehicle which can be used as a daily car, day van or camper as well as allowing travel for a wheelchair user. Once these models are approved we will post the pictures. They are also ideal for use as tow cars for our caravan models.
