The Sabrina Boat is one of Shrewsbury’s top tourist attractions – a modern triple deck 60-passenger boat. A range of delicious sandwiches, snacks, coffees and teas are available on-board, plus soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
During the UK Summer Motorhome Show, the Sabrina Boat will operate a shuttle service from the Showground to the Victoria Quay mooring near the Welsh Bridge in Shrewsbury and back again several times each day. Visitors can simply enjoy the cruise and return to the Showground, or spend some time exploring Shrewsbury town centre and return on a later trip.
The River Severn plays an important role in the heritage of Shrewsbury. Shropshire's county town, was founded by the Saxons and extensively developed by Tudors, and lies within a giant picturesque loop of the river Severn. Shrewsbury is also famous as the birthplace of Charles Darwin.
